Though I partially agree with recent ban on alcohal by supreme court, but If the liquor was not to be served in hotels, clubs on highways then why the licenses were given to them ???? Because of the licenses many invested CRORES of rupees now what will happen to that...How SC is going to compensate that ???.....Instead of closing liquor servings in these hotels why SC didn't order to TIGHTEN the DRUNKEN driven Vigilance....Moreover instead of tightening their loopholes Supreme Court is finding the ways to take EXCUSE....Why it didn't give the correct JUDGEMENT in SALMAN'S case ?? ....................................Now a days every other day SC is stepping in government shoes which is not good for DEMOCRACY.....First SC should try to clear the COUNTLESS pending cases and then try to interfere in other matters.

SC has put 'cart before the horse' in this ruling. Instead of Highway Vigilance by patrolling the SC has closed the eateries and bars. There should be strict vigilance on the highways and heavy penalties for drinking and driving, like license suspension, pounding of vehicles, heavy fines and lockup etc. This way it would control better than closing the outlets. Now people will still carry booze from home knowing that it is not available on he highway. What is the purpose of this ruling. So many people will now be jobless and businesses loss. Most ridiculous ruling? Secondly, people get driving licenses like over the counter. There are no tests, nothing. Go to RTO and collect your license. Drivers only know to handle the machine and not the road rules. They have no idea what the road signs mean. This is Great India of today and this is how we are going to progress by putting the Cart before the Horse
